At ChefBites, we want every customer to enjoy a smooth and satisfying experience when ordering from our platform. Because our products are prepared fresh and delivered quickly, our refund and cancellation rules differ from standard retail purchases. 1. Order Cancellations

 

  • Before Preparation Begins: You may cancel your order within 5 minutes of placing it (or before the restaurant confirms preparation). In this case, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

  • After Preparation Begins: Once the restaurant has started preparing your order, cancellations are no longer possible.

 


 

 

2. Refund Eligibility


Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

 

  • Order Errors: If you receive the wrong items, missing items, or your order is significantly different from what you purchased.

  • Quality Issues: If food arrives spoiled, unsafe to consume, or does not meet reasonable quality standards.

  • Delivery Failures: If your order never arrives or is delivered to the wrong address due to a courier error.

 

Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, refunds may take 3–10 business days to appear in your account.

 


 

3. Non-Refundable Situations

 

We do not provide refunds in the following cases:

 

  • If you change your mind after food has been prepared or delivered.

  • If you provided the wrong delivery address or failed to be available at the time of delivery.

  • If items were consumed or discarded, making it impossible to verify the issue.

 


 

4. Requesting a Refund

 

If you believe you are eligible for a refund:

 

  1. Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.

  2. Provide your order number, details of the issue, and (if applicable) clear photos of the food/items.

Our support team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

 


 

5. Partial Refunds or Store Credit

 

In some cases, we may offer:

 

  • Partial refunds for missing or incorrect items.

  • Store credit or discount codes as a goodwill gesture for minor issues.
